Over the last eight years, Casual Ballerz CIC has moved from an idea on a South London pitch to a living, breathing ecosystem that stretches from Ealing to the Bay Area.

We’ve worked with thousands of young people in London, built a men’s semi-pro team, launched youth pathways, delivered life skills sessions, and created a style of football that isn’t just about tactics – it’s about who you become while you play.
Now, we’re in a new chapter.
While London has continued to run with the strength of volunteers and part-time staff, our Director has spent the last few years building CBZ “In The Lab” Private Training in California. The idea is simple:
parents in the US invest in high-quality player development, and that money directly funds youth opportunities back home in London.

This blog series – every Sunday for the next 16 weeks – is about opening the doors properly. We’ll share:
What’s really happening in London right now – the good, the hard, the honest.
How the Bay Area private sessions are growing and directly supporting our non-profit work.
The people behind the project: coaches, staff, parents, players.
How you – wherever you are – can be part of what we’re building.
We’re not a perfect organisation. We’ve had dips, gaps, mistakes and moments where things felt like they were falling apart. But one thing hasn’t changed:
we still believe football is one of the most powerful tools in the world for changing a young person’s life.
If you care about youth, community, football, or just seeing people get a real chance – keep an eye on Sundays. We’re going to show you exactly what CBZ is, why it exists, and where we’re going next.

Let’s gooo!!
Looking forward to next weeks blog!
